HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1905 ORDINANCE NO. 1905 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD KNOWN AS 1000 LAKEVIEW AVENUE AND'1544 EAST 10TH STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield known as 1000 Lakeview Avenue and 1544 East 10th Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries froman R-2 (Two Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-2-D (Commercial- Architectural Design), or more restrictive, Zone of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 1000 Lakeview Avenue, being more particularly described as follows: The south 60 feet of Lot 54, Tract 1301, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California as per map recorded May 28, 1946, in Map Book 5, Page 141, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of February, 1971, by the following vote: AYI:'S: COUNCILMEN BLEECKER, HEISEY, REES, RUCKER, STIERN, VEII'ER, WHITTEMORE NOES: COUNCILMEN.. ~ ~ _ ABSENT COUNCILM~N: ABSTAINING COUNCILMEN: CITY' CLERK and Ex-Off~cio CI~i'k 0'f the Council of the City of Bakersfield APP..ROV.~.I~ ~kis _.ls~--~;d~.of February, -- ~~f th'e'C~ity 'o~ 'Bakersfield APPROVED: C I TY~PTO RN EY £ I0 ~h $7". ~ R-2 R-a, 0-2 ~ C.
