HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1917 ORDINANCE NO. 1917 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12. 020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a motion to zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of the motion and recommendation of the Planning Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include those certain properties in the County of Kern located between Bliss Street and Milham Drive, bounded on the north by Texas Street and on the south by Brundage Lane, known as "Brundage No. 2" annexation, to a C-1 (Limited Commercial), or more restrictive, Zone and to an R-2 (Two Family Dwelling), or more restrictive, zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more mpecifi- cally described as follows: The following described parcels are located within the SE~4 of the SW~ of Section 32, T29S, R28E, M.D.B.M., County of Kern, State of California. To a C-1 (Limited Commercial)~ or more restrictive, ZonE:: Parcel ~1: The east 100 feet of the south 200 feet of the SWk of the SEI of the SWI of said Section 32, toge. ther with Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Block 2, Milham Gardens, recorded on April 12, 1922, in the Office of the Kern County Recorder, EXCEPTING the street right-of-way. Parc. el ~/2: Lots 13, 14, 15, and 16 of Block 1, Milham Gardens, recorded on April 12, 1922, in the Office of the Kern County Recorder, EXCEPTING the street right-of-way. To an R-2 (Two Family Dwelling)~ or more restrictive, Zone: The north 100 feet of Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Block 1, Milham Gardens, recorded April 12, 1922, in the Office of the Kern County Recorder. SECTION 2.
