HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1913 ORDINANCE NO. 1913 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED WEST OF STINE ROAD AND SOUTH OF MING AVENUE. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakers- field, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located west of Stine Road and south of Ming Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consid- eration of said petition and the reco~m~endations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) Zone and from a C-2-D (Commercial-Architectural Design) Zone to an R-2 (Two Family Dwelling), or more restrictive, Zone and to an R-3 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling), or more restrictive, Zone, affecting that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located west of Stine Road and south of Ming Avenue, being more particularly described as follows: To an R-2 (Two Family Dwelling)~ or more restrictive~ Zone: All that portion of the NW~ of Section 11, T30S, R27E, M.D.M., in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, being more particularly described as follows: Con~nencing at the northwest corner of said Section 11; thence S 00°34'20'' W, along the west line of said Section, 540.03 feet to the true point of beginning~ thence S 88°46'52'' E, 551.39 feet~ thence S 0 34'20" W, 95.00 feet; thence S 78 48'40" E, 92.92 feet; thence S 73o05'52'' E, 104.45 feet; thence S 66°50'21" E, i[04.57 feet; thence S 58°43'10'' E, 385.00 feet: thence S 31o16'50'' W, 130.00 feet; thence N 58~43'10'' W, 332.17 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the south, having a radius of 705 feet, thence westerly along said curve, through a central angle of 30°42'30'' an arc distance of 377.85 feet; thence N 89o25'40'' W, 318.48 feet; thence N 0°34'20 E, 18.00 feet; thence N 89°25'40'' W, 140.00 feet; thence N 0°34'20'' E, 209.77 feet to the true point of beginning.
