AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTIONS 17.15.010,
17~15.020, and 17.15.080 OF CHAPTER 17.15
OF TITLE 17 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE REGULATING
THE R-2 LIMITED MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING ZONE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Sections 17.15.010, 17.15.020, and 17.15.080 of
Chapter 17.15 of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield are hereby amended to read as follows:
CHAPTER 17.15
R-2 LIMITED MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING ZONE
Sections:
17.15.010 R-2 Limited Multiple-Family Dwelling Zone.
17.15.020 Uses permitted.
17.15.030 Building height.
17.15.040 Front yard.
17.15.050 Side yard.
17.15.060 Rear yard.
17.15.070 Minimum lot area.
17.15.080 Distance between buildings on the same lot.
17.15.010 R-2 Limited Multiple-Family Dwelling Zone. The following
regulations shall apply in the R-2 Limited Multiple-Family Dwelling
Zone unless otherwise provided in this title.
17.15.020 Uses Permitted. A. Any use permitted in the R-1 Zone.
B. Limited Multiple-Family Dwellings.
C. The accessory buildings or structures necessary to such
use, located on the same lot or parcel of land.
17.15.080 Distance Between Buildings on the Same Lot. There
shall be a minimum distance of ten feet between buildings used for
dwelling purposes. ~ -
There shall be a minimum distance of ten feet between a
building used for dwelling purposes and an accessory building.
There shall be a minimum distance of six feet between
accessory buildings.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 26th day of April, 1971, by the follow-
ing vote:
