AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY ADDING SECTIONS
11.04.792 (SPEED LIMIT ON HUGHES LANE),
1.1.04.793 (SPEED LIMIT ON EASTON STREET),
AND 11.04.794 (SPEED LIMIT ON MONTCLAIR
STREET).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.792 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield is added to read as follows:
11.04.792 Speed Limit on Hughes Lane. A prima facie speed
limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour is hereby determined and
declared to be the prima facie speed limit at which vehicles may
travel on Hughes Lane between Planz Road and White Lane.
SECTION 2.
That Section 11.04.793 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield is added to read as follows:
11.04.793 Speed Limit on Easton Street. A prima facie speed
limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour is hereby determined and
declared to be the prima facie speed at which vehicles may travel
on Easton Street west and north of Chester Lane to West California
Avenue.
SECTION 3.
That Section 11.04.794 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield is added to read as follows:
11.04.794 Speed Limit on Montclair Street. A prima facie speed
limit 6f-thi~ty-fi~e (35) miles per hour is hereby determin-ed and
declared to be the prima facie speed limit at which vehicles may
travel on Montclair Street from the south boundary line of the
Centennial Park to Stockdale Highway.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall become effective.thirty (30') days
from and after the date of its passage.
