Home My WebLink AboutORD NO 1951 ORDINANCE NO. 1951 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED 800 FEET SOUTHERLY OF MING AVENUE ON THE WEST SIDE OF STINE ROAD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Commission to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located 800 feet southerly of Ming Avenue on the west side of Stine Road, and W~,]REAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of said motion and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which properties are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from a C-2-D (ComMercial - Architectural Design) Zone and from an R-2 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-3 (Limited Multiple Family Dwel- ling), or more restrictive, Zone of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located 800 feet southerly of Ming Avenue on the west side of Stine Road, being more particularly described as follows: Ali. that portion of the NW~ of Section 11, T30S, R27E, M.D.M., in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Section 11; thence .S 0° 34'20" W, along the west line of said Section, 540.03 feet; thence S 88° 46o52'' E, 313.02 feet; thence continuing S 88° 46'52" E, 238.37 feet; thence S 0° 34'20" W, 95.00 feet; thence S 78° 48'40" E, 92.92 feet; Thence S 73o05'52'' E, 104.45 feet; thence S 66° 50'21" E, 104.57 feet; thence S 58° 59.67 feet to the True Point of Beginning; 43'10" E, 1° '50" 335.00 feet; thence S 58© thence N 3 16 E, 43' 10" E, 325.33 feet to the northwesterly line of the Stine Canal; thence S 31°16'50" W alon~said northwesterly line, 360.00 feet; thence N °43'10" W, 140.00 feeti thence N 31016'50'' E, 25.00 feet; thence N 58°43 10" W, to the True Point of Beginning. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of June, 1971, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN BLEECI(ER, HEISEY, ~o I~EES~ RUCKER, THOMAS, WHITTEMORE NOES: COUNCILMEN, ~'~~ CITY CLERK and Ex~-Offic~io Clerk of the .... ~- Council of the City of Bakersfield APPROVED this ~ B.th~da~v of June, 1971 MAYO,R~k~o~ ~ ".l~y~ of Bakersfield APPROVED: CITY ATTORNEY7 Affi av ! of r nan es STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ~ ss.
