AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 2125 AND 2129 BRUNDAGE LANE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known
as 2125 and 2129 Brundage Lane; and
W~REAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said petition and the recommendations of the
Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that a zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield, .be and the same is hereby amended
by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1
(Single Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-2-D
(Commercial-Architectural Design), or more
restrictive, Zone; to an R-2-P-D (Limited
Multiple Family Dwelling-Automobile Parking-
Architectural Design), or more restrictive,
Zone; and to a "P" (Automobile Parking), or
more restrictive, Zone, of that certain property
in the City of Bakersfield corf~Lonly known as
2125 and 2129 Brundage Lane, being more particularly
described as follows:
The following described parcels are located
in Lot 3, Section 1, T30S, R27E, M.D.M., as
shown on the Kern County Sales Map #1 of Lands
of J. B. Haggin, filed in the office of the
Kern County Recorder on March 16, 1889· For
purposes of this legal description, the north
line of said Lot 3 is the north line of said
Section 1.
To a C-2-D (Commercial - Architectural Design), or more restrictive,
Zone:
Parcel f~l: The north 200.2 feet of the east
261.4 feet of the west 409.9 feet.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the north 30 feet together with
the south 20 feet of the east 65 feet of the west
115.5 feet.
To a "P" (Automobile Parkin§)~ or more restrictive~ Zone:
Parcel ~/2: The north 356.1 feet of the east
50..5 feet of the west 199.0 feet.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the north 200.2 feet.
To an R-2-P-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling-Automobile Parking-
Architectural Design) ~ or more restrictive, Zone:
Parcel ~/3: The north 325.2 feet of the east
145.9 feet of the west 409.9 feet.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the north 200.2 feet.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 30th day of August, 1971, by the follow-
ing vote:
