AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 3.14.280 OF
CHAPTER 3.14 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, PROVIDING
FOR SERVICE AWARDS TO EMPLOYEES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.14.280 of Chapter 3.14 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended to read as
follows:
3.14.280 Service Award. Service as a permanent employee of
the City of Bakersfield shall be recognized by an appropriate
award to such employees who have given five, ten, fifteen and
twenty years or more of such service. Such award shall bear the
City seal and shall be in such form and given at such times as
established by Administrative Rules and Regulations.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 15thday of November, 1971, by the
following vote:
