AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.52.020 OF
CHAPTER 17.52 OF TITLE 17 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO CONFLICTING REGULATIONS
AND EXCEPTIONS THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.52.020 of Chapter 17.52 of Title 17 of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended
to read as follows:
17.52.020 Conflictin8 Resulations. Where any provision of this
title imposes more stringent requirements, regulations, restrictions
or limitations than are imposed or required by the provisions of any
other law or ordinance, then the provisions of this title shall
govern; prow£ded, however, that where a subdivision has been approved
by the Planning Commission and the City Council under the provisions
of Chapter 16.22 of Title 16 of the Municipal Code (Optional Design
and Improvement Standards), then the approved standards for streets
and highways, all~ys, easements, blocks, lots, yards, pedestrian ways
and access shall be considered as the requirements of the zoning
ordinance.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.

I H~REBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 1st day of November , 1971,
by the following vote:
