HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1987 ORDINANCE NO. 1987 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE 1AND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2101, 2107, AND 2111 BRUNDAGE lANE. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield co~Lm~only known as 2101, 2107, and 2111 Brundage Lane; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons ad- vanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-2-D ~ommercial - Architectural Design), or more restrictive, Zone of those certain pro- perties in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 2101, 2107 and 2111 Brundage Lane, being more particularly described as follows: Lots 1 and 2 of Tract 1235, recorded February 14, 1945 in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, along with all that portion of Lot 3 in Section 1, T30S, R27E, M.D.B.M. as shown on Kern County Sales Map #1 of 'Lands of J. B. Haggin, filed May 3, 1889 in the Office of the County Recorder in Kern County, that lies easterly of said Lot 1 and northerly of the easterly extension of the south lot line of said Lot 1.
