AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, RELATING TO REFUSE COLLECTION,
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1961 NEW SERIES
(CHAPTER 8.48 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE) AND
ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO.
BE liT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 1961 New Series (Chapter 8.48 of the
Municipal Code) and all amendments thereto are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
That Chapter 8.48 of the Municipal Code, in effect on
August 30, 1971, shall remain in effect on and after 3anuary 1, 1972.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 29th day of November, 1971, by the
following vote:
