AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY
AMENDING SECTIONS 11.04.752 (SPEED LIMIT ON
PANORAMA DRIVE) AND 11.04.764 (SPEED LIMIT
ON COLUMBUS AVENUE).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.752 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield be amended to read as follows:
11.04.752 Speed Limit on Panorama Drive between Mt. Vernon
Avenue and Columbus Avenue. A prima facie speed of thirty-five miles
per hour is hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie
speed at which vehicles may travel on Panorama Drive between the
prolongation of the east curb line of Mt. Vernon Avenue and the
prolongation of the east curb line of Columbus Avenue.
SECTION 2.
That Section 11.04.764 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield be amended to read as follows:
11.04.764 Speed Limit on Columbus Street. A prima facie speed
limit of thirty-five miles per hour is hereby determined and declared
to be the prima facie speed limit at which vehicles may travel on
Columbus Street from the east curbline of Union Avenue to the south
curbline of Panorama Drive within the city limits.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 6th day of March , 1972,
by the following vote:
