AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 11.04. 775
(SPEED LIMIT ON OAK STREET) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.775 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield be amended to read as follows:
11.04.775~ Speed Limit on Oak Street. A prima facie speed limit
of thirty-five miles per hour is hereby determined and declared to
be the prima facie speed limit at which vehicles may travel on Oak
Street from the south curbline of 24th Street to approximately one
thousand feet north of Brundage Lane.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 20th day of March, 1972, by the following
vote:
