HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2015 ORDINANCE NO. 2015 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERS- FIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED BETWEEN "0" STREET AND "~' STREET, APPROXIMATELY 300' NORTHERLY OF 36TH STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council haveheld hearings respectively, on a petition to Change the land use zoning of that'certain property in the City of Bakersfield located between "0" Street and "~' Street, approximately 300' northerly of 36th Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be aut'horized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said city, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D (Limited Multiple Family dwelling - Archi- tectural Design), Zone of that certain property located between "0" Str~e~ a~d - ~ "~' Street, approximately 300' northerly of 36t'h Street, being more particularly described as follows: Lot 1, Block 657, and the South one half of abandoned 38th Street adjacent thereto; and the South 131.50 feet of Lot 2, Block 657 in the City of Bakersfield, as per Map filed November 25, 1898 in the Office of the County Recorder. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of June, 1972, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN BLEECKER, HEISEY, MEDDERS, REES, RUCKER, THOMAS, WHITTEMORE ABSENT COUNCILMEN: ? ~,,.~. _ ,, ABSTAINING COUNCILM~ZN: '~ ~ CITY'CLERK and Ex-Officio Clerk of the Council of the City of Bakersfield APPROV~'~h-f'S 5~ cl~ay~f June, 1972 ~~~f Bakers field APPROVED: CITY ATTOrnEY I I 0 0 0 STATE OF CALIFORNIA,[ ss.
