AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 11.04.777 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE (SPEED LIMIT ON PLANZ
ROAD).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.777 of the Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
11.04.777 Speed Limit on Planz Road. A prima facie speed of
thirty-five miles per hour is hereby determined and declared to be
the prima facie speed at which vehicles may travel on Planz Road
from the west curbline of South "H" Street to the east curbline of
Stine Road; and, a prima facie speed of forty-five miles per hour
is hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie speed at
which vehicles may travel on Fraser Road (which is a continuation
of Planz Road west of Stine Road) from the west curbline of Stine
Road west to the westerly city limits.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 24th day of July, 1972, by the following
vote:
