AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 1321 WHITE LANE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known
as 1321 White Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission he-rein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12. 020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended
by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1
(Single Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D
(Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Archi-
tectural Design), Zone of that certain property
in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as
1321 White Lane, being more particularly
described as follows:
The east half of Lot 15, Section 18, T30S,
R28E, M.D.M., as per Sales Map #1 of Lands
of J. B. Haggin, filed in the Office of the
County Recorder on May 3, 1889, City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the west 300 feet, Tract
No. 2839, recorded April 18, 1963, in Map Book
13, Pages 140-141, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County, and the right-of-way
for White Lane.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 26th day of June, 1972, by the follow-
ing vote:
