AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CHANGING THE NAME OF WEST
MONTEREY STREET TO ESPEE STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That that street designated as West Monterey Street
(between the intersection of Espee Street and West Niles Street,
and Union Avenue) be renamed Espee Street.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I REREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of August, 1972, by
the following vote:
