AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.23.020 (c)
OF CHAPTER 17.23 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE PRO-
VIDING FOR REGULATIONS OF THE C.-O PROFESSIONAL
OFFICE ZONES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.23.020 (c) of Chapter 17.23 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended to read
as follows:
17.23.020 Uses Permitted.
(c) The accessory buildings or structures necessary to such
use located on the same lot or parcel of land.
Any exterior sign displayed shall pertain only to a use
conducted within the building, and shall conform to all regulations
of the City of Bakersfield pertaining to signs.
There shall be a front yard setback of five feet for the
supporting member of a sign, although the sign portion may project
to the property line.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective 30 days from and
after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the Mist day of August, 1972, by the follow-
