AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 11.04.781
(SPEED LIMIT ON WILSON ROAD)' OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.781 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
11.04.781 Speed Limit on Wilson Road. A prima facie speed of
thirty-five miles per hour is hereby determined and declared to be
the prima facie speed at which vehicles may travel on Wilson Road
from the west curbline of South Chester Avenue to the east curbline
of Wible Road and that a prima facie speed of forty miles per hour
is hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie speed at
which vehicles may travel on Wilson Road from the east curbline
of Wible Road to the westerly city limits on all that portion of
Wilson Road which is within the city limits.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 4th day of December, 1972, by the
following vote:
