HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2076 ORDINANCE NO. 20?6 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE 1AND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY KNOWN AS 5503 - 5719 WILSON ROAD (SOUTHEASTERLY SIDE ONLY). WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 5503 - 5719 Wilson Road (southeasterly side only); and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration'of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D (Limi- ted Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural Design)~Zone of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 5503 - 5719 Wilson Road (southeasterly side only), being more particularly described as follows: Ali. that portion of Section 10, T30S, R27E, M.D.M., being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Tract No. 3624, as per map filed in Book 24 of Maps, at page 88, in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Kern, State of California; thence S 13~'24'00" E, on and along the westerly line of said Tract No. 3624, a distance of 165.00 feet~ thence at right angles to last-named course, S 76 36'00" W, 368.62 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the southeast, having a radius of 660.00 feet; thence southwesterly, on and along said curve, through a central angle of 76°40'20", an arc distance of 888.21. feet; thence S 00°94'20"E, 72.66 feet: thence N 89° 39'04" W, 165.01 feet; thence N 00°04~20'' W, 71.38 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the southeast, having a radius of 825.00 feet; thence northeasterly, on and along said curve, through a central angle of 76~40'20'', an arc dis- tance of 1104.00 feet; thence N 76~36'00'' E, 368.62 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
