AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MONITOR STREET
AND PACHECO ROAD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Conm~ission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located at the
northeast corner of Monitor Street and Pacheco Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
The south half of the west half of Lot 18,
Section 18, T30S, R28E, M.D.B.& M., in the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State
of California, as shown by Kern County Sales
Map #1 of Lands of J. B. Haggin filed in the
Office of the County Recorder on May 3, 1889.
EXCEPTING the north 150 feet, being the Pacific
Gas & Electric Cqmpany power line easement,
along with the R/W for both Monitor Street and
Pacheco Road.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the22nd day of January, 1973, by
the following vote:
