AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 11.04. 787 (a)
AND (b) (SPEED LIMIT ON MING AVENUE) OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE liT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Tha't Section 11.04.787(a) of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
11.04.787 Speed Limit on Ming Avenue.
(a) A prima facie speed limit of thirty-five miles per hour
is hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie speed limit
at which vehicles may travel on Ming Avenue from the easterly City
limits to the easterly curbline of Stine Road.
(b) A prima facie speed limit of forty-five miles per hour is
hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie speed limit at
which vehicles may travel on Ming Avenue from the easterly curbline
of Stine Road to the westerly city limits.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 16th day of April, 1973, by the
following vote:
