AM ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING SALARY OF INCUMBENT
CITY CLERK.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the salary of the incumbent City Clerk of the City
of Bakersfield, Class No. 925, is hereby established at $674.64
per bi-weekly period of service, notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 3.].8.060 of the Municipal Code, such increased salary
to be paid to said City Clerk beginning the 23d day of April, 1973,
and to continue during the incumbency of the present City Clerk.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be of no further force or effect upon
the separation, from service of the incumbent City Clerk and from
such time, the applicable provisions of Section 3.18.060 of the
Municipal Code shall be and remain in effect.
SECTION 3.
The operative date of this ordinance is from and after
April 23, 1973, upon ordinance becoming effective thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 9th day of April, 1973, by the following
