HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2085 ORDINANCE NO. 2085 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE ~3NICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED SOUTH OF WILSON ROAD AND NORTH OF PLANZ ROAD FRONTAGE ON WIBLE ROAD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Co~uission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located south of Wilson Road and north of Planz Road frontage on Wible Road; and WHEI~EAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW:, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-O-D (Professional Office) Zone of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located south of Wilson Road and north of Planz Road frontage on Wible Road, being more particularly described as follows: ..... Ail that portion of Lots 18, 31, and 32 of Section 11, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D~B.& M., in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, according to the Sales Map of Lands of Kern County Land Company filed January 25, 1894, in the Office of the County Recorder of Kern County, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of said Section 11, said point being North 00°35'19'' East, 565.89 feet from the Southeast corner of said Section 11; thence from a tangent which bears North 14°41'44'' West, Northerly along a curve concave Westerly with a radius of ].555 feet, through an angle of 6°00'30'', an arc distance of 163.06 feet; thence North 20° 42'].4" West, 315.15 feet; thence Northerly along a tangent curve concave EaSterly with a radius of 945 feet, through an angle of 19°10'11'', an arc distance of 316.17 feet to a point on the North line of said Lot 31; thence Northerly along a curve concave to the East having a radius of 945 feet, through an angle of 15~00'23'', an arc distance of 247.51 feet to a point in the Westerly right-of-way line of California State Highway VI-KER-4-C; thence South 11~31'00'' East along said right-of-way line a distance of 983.75 feet to a point on the East line..of said Section 11; Thence South 00~35'19'' West along the said East line of Section 11 a distance of 40.39 feet to the point of beginning. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of March, 1973, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN BLEECKER, HEISEY, MEDDERS, REES, RUCKER, THOMAS, WHITTEMORE NOES-.
