AiN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 3.18.070
(TEMPORARY POSITIONS) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE liT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
follows:.
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.18.070 is amended to read as follows:
3.18.070 Temporary Positions. The following rates shall apply
temporary positions with the City of Bakersfield:

002 Community Recreation Leader $3.50 per hour
003 ~ Program Coordinator 3.50 per hour
004 Recreation Supervisor I 4.78 per hour
005 Recreation Supervisor II 5.02 per hour
006 Recreation Supervisor III 5.28 per hour
007 Special Activity Leader 2.90 per hour
008 Recreation Leader I 2.10 per hour
010 Recreation Leader II 2.45 per hour
012 Recreation Leader III 2.85 per hour
014 Jr. Recreation Leader 1.60 per hour
016 Swimming Pool Manager 3.00 per hour
018 Assistant Swimming Pool Manager 2.45 per hour
020 Lifeguard 2.10 per hour
022 Cashier 1.60 per hour
024 Official I 5.00 per game
026 Official II 7.00 per game
028 Clerical Aide 2.10 per hour

SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 21st day of May, 1973, by the following
