AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 11.04.798 TO THE
PR]NICIPAL CODE (SPEED LIMIT ON HEIGHT STREET
FROM A POINT 400 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE
OF HALEY STREET TO MT. VERNON AVENUE).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That: Section 11.04.798 of the Municipal Code is added as
follows:
11.04.798 Speed Limit on Height Street From a Point 400 Feet
East of the Center Line of Haley Street to Mt. Vernon Avenua. A
prima facie speed of forty miles per hour is hereby determined and
declared to be, the prima facie speed at which vehicles may travel
on Height Street from a point 400 feet east of the center line of
Haley Street to Mt. Vernon Avenue.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 30th day of April, 197'~, by the
