AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 11.04.755 (SPEED
LIMIT ON TRUXTUN AVENUE) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.755 of the Municipal Code is amended
by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
11.04.755 (c) A prima facie speed of thirty-five (35) miles per
hour is hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie speed
at which vehicles may travel on Truxtun Avenue between the westerly
curb line of Pine Street and the westerly curb line of Oak Street.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the lgth day of June,
1973, by the following vote:

Rogers
Noes: None
Absent: Councilman Thomas
Abstaining: None
