AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 11.04.799 TO THE
MUNICIPAL CODE (SPEED LIMIT ON "Q" STREET
BETWEEN 34TH STREET AND WEST COLUMBUS AVENUE)
OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.799 of the Municipal Code is added
as follows:
11.04.799 Speed Limit on "q" Street Between'34th Street and
West Columbus Avenue. A prima facie speed of thirty-five miles
per hour is hereby determined and declared to be the prima facie
speed at which vehicles may travel on "Q" Street between 34th.
Street and West Columbus Avenue.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July, 1973, by the following
vote:
