AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION
15.04.060 AND REPEALING SECTION 15.04.070
OF CHAPTER 15.04 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD CONCERNING USE OF
MOBILE HOMES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 15.04.060 of Chapter 15.04 of Title 15
of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended
to read as follows:
15.04.060 Use Outside Licensed Park or Approved Subdivision.
It is unlawful to use a mobile home, trailer coach, travel trailer
or camp car for human habitation purposes within the City of
Bakersfield, except when parked within a licensed mobile home
park or approved mobile home subdivision; provided, however, that
this section shall not be applicable in M-1 and M-2 Industrial
and A Agricultural Zones, under the following conditions:
A. No more than one mobile home, trailer coach, travel
trailer or camp car Shall be permitted in connection with each
industrial or agricultural establishment.
B. Said mobile home, trailer coach, travel trailer or camp
car must be an accessory use to the industrial or agricultural
establishment.
C. Occupancy of said mobile home, trailer coach, travel
trailer or camp car shall be only by a person or persons employed
by the industrial or agricultural establishment.
SECTION 2.
Section 15.04.070 of Chapter 15.04 of Title 15 of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days
from and after its adoption.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July,
1973, by the following vote:
