AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTIONS 17.25. 026 (4) ,
ADDING SECTION 17.27.020(2a), AMENDING
SECTION 17.27.020(19), AMENDING SECTION
17.27.026(1) AND AMENDING SECTION 17.31.020(6)
OF TITLE 17 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CONCERNING uSES OF LAND.
BE 'IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That item 4 of Section 17.25.026 of Chapter 17.25 of
Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby
amended to read as follows:
4. Car washes, automatic or coin operated--5 bay maximum.
SECTION 2.
That item 2a is hereby added to, and item 19 of Section
17.27.020 of Chapter 17.27 of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
2a. Animal hospitals (small animals), kennels and
veterinary offices, wholly within a building.
19. Hospitals or sanitariums (except clinics, hospitals
or sanitariums for contagious, mental or drug or liquor addict cases).
SECTION 3.
That item 1 of Section 17.27.026 of Chapter 17.27 of
Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby
amended to read as follows:
1. Animal hospitals (small animals), and kennels.
SECTION 4.
That item 6 of Section 17.31.020 of Chapter 17.31 of
Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby
amended to read as follows:
6. Animal hospitals (small and large animals), kennels
and veterinary offices.
SECTION 5.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.
