HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2125 ORDINANCE NO. 2125 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF NEW STINE ROAD, BETWEEN WILSON ROAD AND PLANZ ROAD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in' the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of'the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located on the east side of 'New Stine Road, between Wilson Road and Planz Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the rec~m~endations of the Planning CoLLm~ission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the ~oundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling),Zone, and to an R-3 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling) Zone, of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located on the East side of New Stine Road, between Wilson Road and Planz Road, being more particularly described as follows: From an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D (Limited Multipl~ Family Dwelling - Architectural Design) Zone: The Northerly 150 feet of the Westerly 590.84 feet of Lot 24 as shown on Sales Map of Lands of Kern County Land Company in Section 11, T30S, R27E, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, filed January 25, 1894, with the County Recorder. From an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-3-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - ArChitectural Desig~ Zone: Parcel 1: The Southerly 200 feet of the Westerly 290 feet of Lot 24 as shown on Sales Map of Lands of Kern County Land Company in Section 11, T30S, R27E, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, filed January 25, 1894 with the County Recorder. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the R/W for New Stine Road. Parcel 2: The Westerly 290 feet of Lot 25 as shown on Sales Map of Lands of 'Kern County Land Company in Section 11, T30S, R27E, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, filed January 25, 1894 with the County Recorder.
