AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 11.04.620 C. 1
AND 11.04.620 C.2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE PRO-
VIDING FOR THE DELETION OF NILES STREET, 18TH
STREET AND 24TH STREET AS WEST TO EAST ONE-WAY
STREETS AND ADDING ESPEE STREET AS A WEST TO
EAST ONE-WAY STREET AND ADDING OAK PLACE, NILES
STREET, WEST NILES STREET, 18TH STREET AND
24TH STREET AS EAST TO WEST ONE-WAY STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.620 C.1 of Title 11 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended by deleting
Niles Street, 18th Street and 24th Street as west to east one-way
streets and by adding Espee Street as a west to east one-way street
as follows:
Espee Street . . . West Niles Street to Union Avenue.
SECTION 2.
That Section 11.04.620 C.2 of Title 11 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended to read as
follows:
2. EAST TO WEST:
Alpine Street . . . California Avenue to Kern Street.
Niles Street . . . Beginning at a point two hundred
seventy-six feet east of the intersection of the center lines of
Niles Street and Brown Street and ending at Union Avenue.
Oak Place . . . Olive Street to Oak Street.
West Niles Street . . . Union Avenue to Espee Street.
18th Street . . . Bakersfield to Kern Street.
24th Street . . . Beginning at a point at the intersection
of the centerlines of 24th Street and "Q" Street and ending at a
point sixty-seven feet east of the intersection of the centerlines
of 24th Street and "B" Street.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of.the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 2Gth day of November, 1973, by the
following vote:
