HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2179 ORDINANCE NO. 2179 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 36TH STREET AND "Q" STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Comznission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located on the northwest corner of 36th Street and "Q" Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning CoL,.~,ission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-2-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architec- tural Design) Zone to a P. U. D. (Planned Unit Development) Zone, of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located on the north- west corner of 36th Street and "Q" Street, being more particularly described as follows: Lot 4, Block 657, together with the adjacent northern 11.25 feet of vacated 36th Street, Map of the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, as per Map recorded November 25, 1898, in Map Book 1, Pages 13 and 14, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County. -o0o- I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 8th day of April, 1974, by the following vote: ~E~..-C'~NClt~Zl~N' BLEECKER, H,EISE~) MEDDERS,_ RO~ S7~O~.~,T~OMAS ~C)ES~ COUNCILMEN: ~ENT COUNCILMEN: . ......
