HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2178 ORDINANCE NO. 2,1%8 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2205, 2217, 2223, AND 2229 - 19TH STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 2205, 2217, 2223, and 2229 - 19th Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the reco~t~endations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020, (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling ) Zone to a C-O (Co~ercial and Professional Office) Zone, of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 2205, 2217, 2223, and 2229 - 19th Street, being more particularly described as follows: North one-half of Block 425, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, according to Map dated April 19, 1904, recorded in Book 1, Pages 13 and 14 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of April, 1974, by the following vote: A~'E$': CO"UNtlLMEN BLEECKER, HEISEY, MEDDERS, ROGERS, STRONG, THOMAS I'kl~JEs: COUNCILMEN: ABSENT COUNCILMEN: ,""~49"~ .,',' ABSTAINING COUNCILMEN: APPROVED this 1st day/of ~April, 1974 I~YOR off?ne City of Bakersfield APPROVED as to form: CITY ATTORNEY of-th~ C/Pt~ of Bakersfield B S'T ST.
