AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF GOLDEN STATE HIGHWAY
FRONTAGE ROAD AND WESTERLY OF "F" STREET.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to ~hange the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located on the
south side of Golden State Highway frontage road and westerly of
"F" Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the reco~nmendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that
this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from a C-2-D
(Commercial - Architectural Design) Zone to
an R-3-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling -
Architectural Design) Zone, of that certain
property in the City of Bakersfield located
on the south side of Golden State Highway
frontage road and westerly of "F" Street,
being more particularly described as follows:
All of Parcels 2, 3, and 4 of Parcel Map #818
filed on April 13, 1973 in Book 5 of Parcel Maps
on Page 77 in the County Recorder's Office, Kern
County, California;
Together~with the following described property:
Beginning at the SW corner of said Parcel 4;
Thence S. 14°26'07'' W. 202.91';
Thence N. 89°59'45'' E. 247.10' to the SW corner
of said Parcel 2;
Thence N. 0°00'15'' W. along the West boundary of
said Parcel 2 196.50';
Thence S. 89°59'45'' W. along the South boundary
of said Parcels 3 and 4 196.50~ to the Point of
Beginning.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the~Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 13th day of May, 1974, by the following
vote:

That he is the duly appointed, acting and qualified City
Clerk of the City of Bakersfield; and that on May 14,
19 74 , he posted on the Bulletin Board at the City Hall, a full,
true and correct copy of an ordinance passed by the Council of said
City at a-meeting thereof duly held on May 13 , 19 74 ,
which ordinance was numbered 2190 New Series, and
entitled:
