HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2186 ORDINANCE NO. 2186 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY KNOWN AS 3010 - 18TH STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the' Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 3010 - 18th Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the reco~mt~endations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Bakersfield. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-l(One Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural Design) Zone of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 3010 - 18th Street, being more particularly described as follows: Ail of Lots 16, 17, and 18 in Block 433, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, according to the Sales Map of Kern County Land Company showing subdivisions of its additions to the City of Bakersfield, Kern County, California, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of Kern County, on April 19, 1904. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 22nd day of April, 1974, by the follow- ing vote: ~%I~~1 ~ the~ty of BaKerszieza of APPROVED this:]i~2n/da~-pril, 1974 l~YOl[6f the City of Bakersf±eld APPROVED as to form: CITY ATTORNEY' of the Ci-~ of/Bakersfield OAK ST.'-~' " '~~ ........ ~. .-~~ ..... , ........... ~ ......
