HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2184 ORDINANCE NO. 2184 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on motion to zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of the motion and recommendation of the Planning Commis- sion, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include those certain properties in the County of Kern located northerly of Panorama Drive and easterly of the northerly extension of Wenatchee Street, and known as "Panoramic Heights No. 4" Annexation, in an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone, and an R-3-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural Design) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: Parcel 1: To an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone: A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of California and being a portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 10, Township 29 south, Range 28 E. and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the said southwest quarter of said southeast quarter and the west line of the east 550 feet of last-named southwest quarter of said southeast quarter, said point of intersection being in the Corporate Boundary of the City of Bakersfield; Thence (1) southerly, and along the various courses of said Corporate Boundary, to intersect the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of said southeast quarter; Thence (2) easterly, along the north line of the southwest quarter of said southeast quarter, 770 feet more or less, to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following parcel: Beginning at the northwest corner of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 10; Thence (1) south 00°18'47'' east along the west line of said south- east quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter a distance of 10.53 feet; Thence (2) north 52°01'42'' west a distance of 21.21 feet; Thence (3) south 81005'06'' west a distance of 103.25 feet; Thence (4) north 88°49'51'' west a distance of 98.02 feet; Thence (5) north 36°12'34'' west a distance of 69.41 feet; Thence (6) north 68°51'46'' east a distance of 288.40 feet; Thence (7) south 69°54'17'' east a distance of 106.73 feet to a point on the west line of the east 550.00 feet of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 10; Thence (8) south 00o16'27'' east along last-named line a distance of 111.25 feet to a point on the north line of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 10; Thence (9) south 89041'38'' west along last-named-line a distance of 112.10 feet to the point of beginning. Parcel 2: To an R-3-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural Design) Zone: A parcel of land being a portion of Section 10 of Township 29 S., Range 28 E., M.D.B.& M., in the County of Kern, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 10; Thence (1) south 00018'47'' east along the west line of said south- east quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter a distance of 10.53 feet; Thence (2) north 52°01'42'' west a distance of 21.21 feet; Thence (3) south 81o05'06'' west a distance of 103.25 feet; Thence (4) north 88°49'51'' west a distance of 98.02 feet; Thence (5) north 36~12'34" west a distance of 69.41 feet; Thence (6) north 68°~51'46'' east a distance of 288.40 feet; Thence (7) south 69°54'17~' east a distance of 106.73 feet to a point on the west line of the east 550.00 feet of the south- west quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 10; Thence (8) south 00°16'27'' east along last-named line a distance of 111.25 feet to a point on the north line of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 10; Thence (9) south 89°41'38'' west along last-named line a distance of 112.10 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2.
