AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 7.34. 080 OF
CHAPTER 7.34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, PROVIDING
REGULATIONS FOR CARDROOMS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Paragraph (8) of Section 7.34.080 of Chapter 7.34 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended to read
as follows:
(8) All. cardrooms shall be open to police inspection at any
time.
SECTION 2.
Paragraph (9) of Section 7.34.080 of Chapter 7.34 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended to
read as follows:
(9) No entrance to or from any public pool hall or place
or room where any alcoholic beverage is served or sold shall be
permitted in any cardroom.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 15'th day of April, 1974, by the follow-
ing vote:
