AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 3700 STINE ROAD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield co~LmLonly known
as 3700 Stine Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Cor~ission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that
this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an '~" (Agricul-
tural) Zone to an R-i-CH (One Family Dwelling-Church)
Zone, of that certain property in the City of
- ~- Bakersfield commonly known as 3700 Stine Road,
being more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the SWk of the NWk of Section 14,
T30S, R27E, M.D.B.M., County of Kern, State of
California described as follows:
Starting at the NW corner of said SWk of the NWk;
Thence South along the West line of said SWt of the
NW~;, a distance of 24' to the True Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing South along the West line of said
SW~; of the NWl, a distance of 341.03' to a point on
the center line of a certain ditch;
Thence at right angles along the center line of said
ditch 41.66' ·
Thence continuing along the center line of said ditch
S 46°10' East a distance of 358 ll''
Thence North and parallel with the West line of said
SWt of the NWl, a distance of 587.13';
Thence N 89°38' West, a distance of 300' to the True
Point of Beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the R/W for Stine Road.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 3d day of June, 1974, by the following
vote:

true and correct copy of an ordinance passed by the Council of said
City at a meeting thereof duly held on June 3 , 19 74 ,
which ordinance was numbered 2195 New Series, and
entitled:
