UPON EACH ~RED DOL~ 0F' VALUATION
FOR THE FISCAL ~ BEGInniNG ~LY 1~,
1927, A~ E~ING ~ 3~H, 1928.
BE IT 0RDAI~D BY T~ COUNCIL 0F '~E CITY OF BA~S-
FIEf, as follows:
SECTION 1.
~at there is hereby levied a t~ of one ($1.00)
dollar on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed
valuation of all t~able property in the City of Bakersfield,
County of ~ern, State of California, for Enicipal expenses of
the ~unictpai Gover~ent of said City (exceoting as hereinafter
mentioned) during the fiscal year beginning with ~e first day
of July, 192~, and ending ~th the thirtieth day of June, 1928.
~ECTION 2 ·
That there is hereby levied a t~ of ei~t ($.08)
cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the ~sessed val-
uable of all t~able property within the City of Bakersfield,
Coun~ of Kern, State of California, for Parks and Playgrounds.
~ECTION 3.
That there is hereby levied a t~ of two ($.02)
cents on each one hundred ($100.0~ dollars of the assessed valua-
tion of all t~able property within the City of Bakersfield,
County of ~ern, otate of California, for F~ee nibra~ and
Reading Rooms.
SECTION 4.
That there is hereby levied a t~ of one ($.01)
cent on each one hundred ($100.O0) dollars of the assessed
valuation of all t~able property within the Ci~ of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, for interest and sinking
fund on 3t~eet Improvement Bonds issued under the Improvement
Bond Act of 1915.
~ECTION 5.
That there is hereby levied a t~ of four ($.04)
cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of ~e assessed
valuation of all taxable property within the boundaries of the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, ~tate of California, as said
boundaries were fixed and determined on the 22nd day of March,
1923, for interest and sinking fund on 1912 ~ewer Bonds.

That there is hereby levied a tax of three ($.03)
cents on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valua-

valuation of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City
of Bakersfield, County of'Kern, orate of California, as said bound-
aries were fixed and determined, on the 22nd day of March, 1923,
for interest and sinking fund on the 1912 Fire Department Bonds.

That there is hereby levied a tax of one-half ($.005)
cent on each one hundred (~100.00) dollars of the assessed valua-
tion of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, ~tate of California, 8s said bound-
aries were fixed and dete~mfned, on the 22nd day of March, 1923,
for interest and sinking fund on the 1912 bibrar,y Bonds.

That there is hereby levied a tax of two ($.02} cent~
on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars of the assessed valuation of
all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield, which was
known and designated as the City of Bakersfield prior to the con-
solidation of said City and Town of Kern, for interest and sinking
fund on oewer Bond Number One.

I HEEEBY CEETIFY that the foregolug Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
on the ~5~ day of August, 1927, by the following vote:
