GARBAGE AND RUBBISH BY ANY PERSON, FII~,' OR CORPOP~A-
TION VACATING PR~ISES USED FOR RESIDENCE,
CIAL 0R BUSINESS PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
AND REPEAL~'NG 0RDINA;~,'OE NUMBER 35V NEW SERIES OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TI~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Any person or persons, firm or corporation vacating any
building or premises used for residence, commercial or business
purposes in the City of Bakersfield, shall at such time have removed
or remove from such building or pre~aises all garbage, paper, trash,
tin cans, bottles, ashes, lumber scraps, e~ates, automobile casings,
tires and tubes, or any automobile parts or bodies, or garbage or
rubbish of any kind or nature.
SECTION 2.
If any person or persons, firm or corporation, shall violate
any of the provisions of this ordinance by failing to remove such gar-
bage or rubbish, or any of the articles set forth in Section i hereof,
said person or persons, fir~ or corporation shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon arrest and conviction thereof shall be punished by
a fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) or by imprisonment in the
County Jail for a term not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 3.
Ordinance Number 357 New Series, and all other ordinances
or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
repealed.

I HEREBY CERTI~ that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular
meeting thereof, held on the ~6P~ay of January, 1936, by the
