Home My WebLink AboutRES NO 174-06 RESOLUTION NO. 1 7 4 - 0 6 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGETS FOR THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2006-07. WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Bakersfield and applicable ordinances, the City Manager of the City of Bakersfield has heretofore presented to the City Council of said City the proposed Operating and Capital Improvement budgets for the Fiscal Year 2006-07; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said proposed budgets for the Fiscal Year 2006-07; and WHEREAS, public hearings were held in the Council Chamber of the City of Bakersfield on these budgets for the Fiscal Year 2006-07; and WHEREAS, said City Council has now considered these proposed budgets as so submitted and all evidence at said public hearing, with reference thereto, and has now made all changes and amendments thereto which said City Council up to this time desires to make therein; and WHEREAS, the originals of said proposed budgets have now been revised so as to reflect each and all of the amendments, changes and modifications which the said City Council up to the time of the adoption of this resolution believes should be made in said proposed budgets are submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. That the Fiscal Year 2006-07 budgets total $504,168,199, as reflected in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, with the Operating Budget including transfers totaling $362,900,799, and the Capital Improvement Budget totaling $141,267,400; and 2. That the originals of the proposed Operating and Capital Improvement budgets for the City of Bakersfield, California, for the Fiscal Year 2006-07, as amended, shall be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk and shall be open to public inspection; and 3. That said City Council of the City of Bakersfield does hereby approve and adopt the proposed Operating and Capital Improvement budgets of the City of Bakersfield, California, for the Fiscal Year 2006-07, as reflected in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and the same are incorporated herein by reference; and -1 - ~M¡: I{ if> o ~\ ::> - ~ .'11 r- ~- ê> t:¡ ORIGINAL 4. That the said budgets for said Fiscal Year 2006-07 submitted, and filed shall be the budgets for the City of Bakersfield, California, for said Fiscal Year 2006-07; and 5.
