AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION
15.82.060 OF THE BAKERSFIELD
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FEE FOR
PARK DEVELOPMENT AND
IMPROVEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 15.82.060 is hereby amended to read as follows:
15.82.060 Adjustment of Fees.
Each fiscal year, the public works director shall submit a proposed fee schedule
regarding the fee amount to be collected for each new dwelling unit. The fee shall be
adjusted annually by the annual Construction Cost Index defined in Bakersfield
Municipal Code Section 15.84.0300. Also, the fee schedule shall be further adjusted to
reflect all costs incurred for park development, improvement, or enhancement. The fee
shall be adopted by resolution of the City Council following a noticed public hearing.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the proVISions of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its passage.
