ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.60.060B.9. OF THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SIGNS
PERMITTED IN THE BAKERSFIELD AUTO MALL
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17
of the Bakersfield Municipal Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on a
proposal regarding expanding the area within the Bakersfield Auto Mall subject to special
sign standards; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 159-06 on August 17, 2006, the Planning
Commission recommended approval and adoption of said proposal, and this Council has
fully considered the findings made by the Planning Commission as set forth in that
resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
SECTION 1.
The map titled "Bakersfield Auto Mall Sign Area Map" as referenced in Subsection
B.9. of Section 17.60.060 is hereby amended and replaces the map contained in Chapter
17.60 (Signs).
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Bakersfield Municipal Code
and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage.
