AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTIONS 5.52.110(B)(1)
AND 5.52.140(B) OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL
CODE GOVERNING LOCATION, BUILDING CODE, AND
ZONING REQUIREMENTS OF TOWING SERVICES
UTILIZED BY THE BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of

B.
the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
5.52.110(B)(1) is hereby amended to read as
Qualifying procedure for towing services.
Each towing service requesting qualification shall:
1. Maintain the facilities and equipment required
by this chapter within a five-mile radius of the intersection of
Brundage Lane and "H" Street.
SECTION 2.
Section 5.52.140(B) is hereby amended to read as follows:
15.52.140 Minimum business and storage lot requirements.
B. Building and Zoning. Business buildings, storage lots,
garages and all accessories thereto shall conform with all applicable
building code requirements and zoning regulations.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the City
Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30) days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 12%h day of September , 1984,
