ORDINANCE NO. 2954 NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
AMENDING SECTION 16.52.070 D. OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNI-
CIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO FEES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PLANNED
DRAINAGE AND SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES PURSUANT TO
ADOPTED PLANS, AND ADDING REFERENCE TO PLANS ADOPTED
FOR PANAMA LANE - MONITOR STREET PLANNED SANITARY SEWER
AREA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
SECTION 1.
That Section 16.52.070 D. of the Bakersfield Municipal
Code is hereDy amended to read as follows:
Sectien 16.32.070 Improvements in subdivisions for which final
map is required.
D. Drainage and Sewer Facilities - Payment of Fees
Required.
Prior to filing any final map or parcel map, the subdivider shall
pay or cause to be paid any fees for defraying the actual or estimated
costs of constructing planned drainage facilities for the removal of
surface and storm waters from the following local and neighborhood areas
and sanitary sewer facilities for local sanitary sewer areas pursuant
to drainage and sanitary sewer plans adopted by the Council therefor in
accordance with Article 5 of Chapter 4 of Division 2 of Title 7 of the
California Government Code (Section 66483 et seq.):
1. Pioneer Planned Drainage Area; and
2. Fairview Planned Drainge Area; and
3. Pierce Road - Oak Street Planned Sanitary Sewer
Area; and
4. 16th Street - Elm Street Planned Drainge Area; and
5. "K" Street - 2nd Street Planned [)rainage Area; and
6. Panama Lane ~ Monitor Planned Sanitary Sewer Area.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with
the City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty
(30) days from and after the date of its passage.

and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
