HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2879ORDINANCE NO. 2~79 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2848, NEW SERIES, TO CORRECT BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY REZONED THEREBY. WHEREAS, on June 8, 1983, the Council of the City of Bakersfield adopted Ordinance No. 2848, New Se£ies, rezoning from an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-1 (Limited Commercial) Zone property located at the northwest co~ner of White Lane and Wible Road; and WHEREAS, in describing the boundary of such property, pamag£aph 3 of that omdinance contains a mathematical error; and WHEREAS, the error in the descmiption of the boundary of the propemty contained in pacagcaph 3 of Ocdinance No. 2848, New Semies, is evident fmom the map attached thereto and from the record of proceedings in the rezoning pmocess, and no person could reasonably have been misled by or failed to exercise his legal mights as a result of such emror; and WHEREAS, the boundamy descmiption set forth hemein below is consistent with such map and record of proceedings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: SECTION 1. The boundamy descmiption set forth in paragmaph 3 of Omdinance NO. 2848~ New Series, is hemeby amended and cor£ected to read as follows: FROM AN R-1 (ONE FAMILY DWELLING) ZONE TO A C-1 (LIMITED COMMERCIAL) OR MORE RESTRICTIVE ZONE: The South 330 feet of the East 660 feet of the Nomtheast Quartem of Section 14, Town- ship 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.&M.; EXCEPTING THEREFROM the northemly 145.776 feet of the westerly 253.492 feet, and the mights-of-way of White Lane and Wible Road, in the City of Bakemsfield, County of Kemn, State of Califocnia. City days SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30) from and after the date of its passage. .......... o0o ..........
