AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Of'
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 17.53.060 C. 8. TO
THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO
EXTENSIONS OF TIME LIMITS FOR REVIEW OF SITE
PLANS ON MAJOR RETAIL PROJECTS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 17.53.060 C. 8. is hereby added to the Bakersfield
Municipal Code to read as follows:
17.53.060 Process.
C. 8. The time periods set forth in this chapter for
review and action on applications may be extended for up to
seventy working days by the planning director for consideration
of site plans ior "major retail projects", as such projects are
defined in site plan review policies adopted pursuant to Section
17.53.051.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.
