AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 17.].6.025 TO
CHAPTER 17.16 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL
CODE, ADDING SECTION 17.18.025 TO CHAPTER
17.18 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
AND ADDING SECTION 17.36.025 TO CHAPTER
17.36 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATIVE TO USES PERMITTED SUBJECT TO
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN R-3, R-4 AND
CH ZONES.

as follows:
IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.16.025 is hereby added to Chapter 17.16
of the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows:
17.16.025 Uses permitted subject to conditional use permit.
The following uses may be permitted subject to a conditional use
permit in accordance with the procedures provided in Chapters
17.64 and 17.66 of this Title:
A. Certified farmers markets on the premises of a retirement
community or senior citizens center.
SECTION 2.
That Section 17.18.025 is hereby added to Chapter 17.18
of the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows:
17.18.025 Uses permitted subject to conditional use permit.
The following uses may be permitted subject to a conditional use
permit in accordance with the procedures provided in Chapters
17.64 and 17.66 of this Title:

SECTION 3.
That Section 17.36.025 is hereby added to Chapter 17.36
of the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows:
17.36.025 Uses permitted subject to conditional use permit.
The following uses may be permitted subject to a conditional use
permit in accordance with the procedures provided in Chapters
17.64 and 17.66 of this Title:
A. Certified farmers markets.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of March , 198 5, by
