AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO RESOLUTION NO. 108-99
SE'I'rlNG SALARIES AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE GENERAL
SUPERVISORY, POLICE SUPERVISORY AND
MANAGEMENT UNITS (GENERAL SUPERVISORY
RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 108-99 sets salaries and related benefits for
employees of the General Supervisory Unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield that effective the beginning of the first full pay period following Council action,
Section 7., Deferred Income, a part of Resolution No. 108-99, is hereby amended by
adding the following:
SECTION 7.
Deferred Income
General Supervisory employees shall be eligible to participate in a supervisory retirement
savings plan which provides that for every two dollars ($2.00) the employee contributes to
a deferred compensation plan, the City will contribute one dollar ($1.00), up to one percent
(1%) maximum of the employee's annual base salary per calendar year.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on NOV 15 2000 , by
